The traditional period exterior of Shiloh Cottage belies the contemporary style you’ll find within, its flexible accommodation and outside space making it a brilliant option for couples, families or friends.

The spacious living room has a wood burning stove and is furnished with mid-century style sofas, sheepskin rugs and colourful textured fabrics, with french doors leading straight onto the patio and an enclosed multi-level garden which benefits from sunshine for most of the day.

Next door is a stylish kitchen with Lacanche range cooker and dining table for six, leading into a snug/utility room with sofa, wall-mounted TV and plenty of space for outdoor gear, wellies and walking boots.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with king size double beds, one of which has an extra 3’ single bed and separate 3’ truckle bed, offering extra sleeping capacity if needed. The bedrooms are separated by a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

You will find a well-stocked village shop and Post Office just a couple of minutes’ stroll from the cottage across the village green.

Located amidst the beautiful Borders countryside, there is excellent walking, fishing, golfing and cycling on the doorstep; nearby Harestanes Visitor Centre has plenty of family-friendly activities and Edinburgh is just one hour's drive north on the A68.
