Atom by Creatomatic is the market-leading solution

for integrating SuperControl with WordPress.

HOW IT WORKS

Atom is our custom built SuperControl system. We’ve created Atom to integrate with our WordPress framework, feeding in property details to your website from SuperControl’s API. Any update you make to your properties in SuperControl will update your website – property details, media, pricing and availability are all integrated automatically.

Atom collects information from SuperControl’s API and feeds directly in it to your website.

Atom has a list of powerful features to help you get the most from your SuperControl listings and give visitors to your site a smooth and tailored booking experience, whilst drastically reducing administrative time.

ATOM FEATURES

THE FULL SUPERCONTROL API EXPERIENCE

Atom uses the SuperControl API to build the entire property system of your website – with no double-handling or tedious copy- and-paste work to integrate your property details into a custom WordPress database.

It works just like any other channel on SuperControl – all you need is your SuperControl ID to get started. Property titles; descriptions; images and video; attributes; and custom fields – Atom can seamlessly integrate them into your WordPress site in a usable and search engine optimised format.

Everything is in one place: when you update your SuperControl property listing, Atom will automatically update your website alongside all your listing channels for quick, convenient peace of mind.

ATOM FEATURES

SEARCH LANDING PAGES

Atom’s landing page generator is easy to set up and allows you to create an unlimited number of landing pages for specific search terms.

This is invaluable to help categorise properties for larger agencies – or to create targeted marketing content for seasonal, evergreen or on-the-fly marketing campaigns.

Example landing pages could include:

  • Dog friendly cottages in Cumbria
  • Christmas breaks in York
  • Accommodation near Glastonbury Festival
  • Exmouth Carnival Self Catering Cottages
  • Cottages with wood burners near Oxford
  • Hiking cottages Lake District

Not only do finely tuned landing pages help to direct more traffic to your site, they are an excellent marketing tool for sharing to social media, blog posts and other channels. Use these to promote your properties for special events in your area, holidays, adventures, experiences and more.

ATOM FEATURES

SMARTER SEARCHING

Atom is designed specifically to make the process of searching and booking as easy as possible. It starts right at the start, when your potential guest starts a new search.

Atom saves search data and applies it to search results. If a guest selects a date and stay duration, Atom saves this and uses it to show other relevant properties as they browse. When they view a single property, they’ll have the option to book instantly – no need to put their search dates into a booking widget again.

Atom takes usability cues from world leading booking platforms. For instance, it includes the option to show live prices directly in booking calendars – if a guest selects a date, they can instantly see prices for a range of stay durations, helping them reach a decision on their booking quickly and painlessly.

MAP SEARCH

Display all of your properties on an interactive map, with bespoke icons. As the user moves around the map and zooms in/out, Atom will pull through the property cards for each property in that area and display them alongside the map.

This enables visitors to find a property easily by location, with a quick link to property information and booking.

LOAD SPEEDS AND CACHING

Drawing significant amounts of data – particularly real-time availability and high resolution photography/ video – can result in slower loading speeds.

Atom periodically caches SuperControl content and saves it locally, resulting in faster loading times on your website and a smoother user experience. Our developers can work with you to create the ultimate balance of features, functionality and load speed.

FAVOURITES

Let customers add properties to their ‘favourites’ as they browse your site.

By clicking the favourites icon on your property card or single property page, the selected properties will be saved to an independent favourites page. This allows guests to create their own shortlist of properties, easily accessible and shareable with family and friends.

‘DISTANCE FROM’ LOGIC

Allow your visitors to select an area and then a specified ‘distance from: for example Oxford + 5 miles

Atom will use our custom ‘Distance From’ logic to display all properties within the specified area. You can choose predefined options such as +5 miles, +10 miles etc in a drop- down menu.

This feature ensures that a greater range of properties is displayed when a customer gives a specific location, allowing outlying properties to become more visible and eliminating dead-ends.
